NASA’s Birth

By Kellen B.

How do all of the planets in are solar system stay in order and orbit is it some type of galaxy technology? Did all of the planets get there shape from a nuclear missile? Is there a special thing that keeps all of the planets from colliding into each other? These are all great questions but this isn’t how NASA was formed.

In 1957 Russia built sputnik and sent it to space. Our reaction to this was they had beat use also they were winning the space race. So that means we panicked and tried to put something up into space ASAP.

President Kennedy’s speech was about NASA’S space origination will go on with our help or without our help. We were behind on the space race and so we had to step are game up to take the lead in the space race. So were inspired to send a person to the moon some people thought it was impossible others were inspired. Then 8 years later of hard work Neil Armstrong was the first person to land on the moon!!! But on the same day Russia was supposed to land a space shuttle on the moon but there shuttle crashed but nobody was in it. With that being said we had also won the space race.

NASA’s problem now was there very low budget. Which is a penny for every two dollars the U.S has. We also need are own space shuttle because we still have to pay Russia back for their shuttles they lined to us. But, we still have another choice. Private spaceships are paid for by commercial or private companies. But instead of us making the space ships the other companies can do it.

NASA has been one of the most successful public investment in motivating students to do well and achieve all they can achieve.

Neil Armstrong quote.
